This past weekend in Miramar, Florida TEAM member Lauren Forgues represented the USA at the North American, Central American and Caribbean U-23 Championships. On Saturday morning in very brutal weather conditions she walked 10km's on the track. She started off the race in second place with a Mexican walker bursting into first. Lauren came through 5k in 24:59. In the second half of the race, Lauren and the lead Mexican walker were walking the same pace but since the Mexican girl had gotten such a big lead in the first 5k, Lauren simply couldnt catch her. Lauren ended up finishing a very strong 2nd place.

Next up for the TEAM is the World Junior Track and Field Championships in Moncton, Canada where Trevor Barron and Tyler Sorenson will be representing the USA. Coach Tim will also be travelling to Moncton to help the boys in their race which takes place on July 23rd.
