Tyler Dominates at Youth Olympic Trials

Yesterday in Arlington, Texas, Tyler Sorensen competed at the USA Youth Olympic Trials. Tyler took the lead right from the beginning and completely dominated the field winning by 13 minutes. Tyler finished the 10,000m track race in 45:52. Unfortunately, it was a typical hot day in Texas and it didnt help at all that they placed the race at 3:30pm in the afternoon. As of right now we do not know if this will qualify Tyler for the USA team that will compete at the Youth Olympics in Singapore.

Tyler will race in a week on Long Island where he will be looking to improve on his time from yesterday and hope to qualify for the USA team that will compete in Mexico at the World Race Walk Cup in May.

Stay tuned!
